A day before your appointment you will be required to answer some screening questions related to COVID-19. Patient will be asked the same questions the day of their appointment.
At the scheduled appointment time, our office will call from outside the office, or from your car. We will call you when it is safe for you to enter our office. This is to ensure that social distancing can be maintained between patients coming out and going into the office.
Please wear a mask into the office.
We have spaced out the chairs in the waiting room. We have also removed magazines from the waiting room. It is our goal to take you straight to the dental chair when we are ready for you.
To minimize the number of people in the office we will only be allowing patients booked for treatment into the office (exceptions will be made for one parent with a young child or any others needing assistance) Medical centre needs to do the same as the waiting is full of people.
Limiting the number of patients in the practice area and also limiting the number of patients we see on a daily basis.
Once you enter the office you will be asked to sanitize your hands.
The front office will be behind a plexiglass “Sneeze Guard” and will review your COVID-19 screening questions.
We will no longer offer the remote control for the TV.
The assistant will take your temperature and ask you to rinse with a Hydrogen peroxide solution.
We have enhanced PPE procedures and protocols including surgical gowns over our scrubs, face shields, clinic only shoes, masks and gloves.
There will be extra time scheduled between patients’ appointments to allow thorough cleaning and disinfection of treatment rooms and equipment.
Staff will be required to have daily temperature and symptom checks.
Please note that the practice will be only accepting credit and debit payments until further notice to avoid handling cash.
Reschedule appointments if anyone in the household has been sick in the last 2 weeks.
